1. Seller
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”) are issued by Prasanna Deshapriya Jasinghege Don, a French sole trader (entrepreneur individuel), trading as Akuru Language Academy and operating the Pransha Akuru programme.
- Professional address: 8 bis rue Abel, 75012 Paris, France
- Email: admin@akuru.fr
- SIREN: 130 179 286
- Establishment SIRET: 130 179 286 00013
- APE code: 8559B — Other education
- Intra-Community VAT number: not assigned as of the effective date
Akuru Language Academy and Pransha Akuru are trading names of the same sole-trader business, not separate companies.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern the consumer purchase of the 30-Day French Speaking Challenge described on the associated sales page. The Customer is an individual purchasing outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
The Customer accepts these Terms by selecting the unchecked acceptance box before continuing to the secure checkout. The version made available at the time of the order applies to that order.
3. Programme and included services
The Challenge runs from 1 to 30 November 2026 and is intended for adults who already know some basic French and can attempt a short spoken response. It is a guided speaking-practice programme and not a complete beginner course.
The one-time programme fee includes:
- 30 practical speaking topics, released week by week;
- the option to submit one short French audio or video for each daily topic through the private Pransha Akuru Skool community or WhatsApp;
- personal teacher feedback on each eligible daily submission made during the programme period;
- four 90-minute live group Zoom calls on Sundays at 16:00–17:30 Paris time, scheduled for 1, 8, 15 and 22 November 2026;
- access to recordings of the Sunday calls where technically and legally possible; and
- one month of free, programme-related access to the Pransha Akuru Skool community.
Places are limited. The sales page and checkout summary form part of the pre-contract information and identify the purchased programme, price and dates.
4. Price and payment
The total price is €49, payable once. It is not a subscription and no recurring programme charge applies. The total amount payable, including any applicable taxes and compulsory charges, is displayed before the order is confirmed.
Payment is processed by the secure payment provider identified at checkout. Enrolment is confirmed only after successful payment has been verified. An abandoned, refused or failed payment does not reserve or confirm a place.
5. Ordering process and confirmation
Before payment, the Customer can review the programme, dates, price and personal information and correct any errors. The Customer must actively accept these Terms before continuing to checkout. The final checkout control will clearly communicate the obligation to pay.
After successful payment, a confirmation will be sent to the email address supplied during checkout. It will include or link to the essential programme information, the amount paid, these Terms, the applicable withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form on a durable medium. An invoice is issued in accordance with applicable French rules.
6. Access and technical requirements
The Customer needs a suitable device, a reliable internet connection, an email address, and the ability to use Zoom, Skool and either audio or video recording. WhatsApp is an alternative submission channel where offered. The Customer is responsible for checking time-zone differences and maintaining compatible equipment and connectivity.
Access details and participation instructions may be sent by email or shared inside the private Skool community. Access is personal and must not be shared.
7. Daily submissions, feedback and missed days
The purpose of the Challenge is regular speaking practice rather than perfect attendance. A participant who misses a day may continue with the next available topic. Unless otherwise agreed, missed topics do not extend the programme beyond 30 November 2026.
Personal feedback applies to one reasonable audio or video response for each daily topic submitted during the programme period. Feedback timing may vary depending on the time of submission, weekends, volume and technical availability, but will be provided within a reasonable time.
8. Live Zoom calls and recordings
The four live calls are group sessions. A participant who cannot attend live may access a recording on the private Skool community where recording is technically and legally possible. A missed call does not create an additional individual lesson or extend access.
Participants must not record, publish or distribute another participant’s image, voice, messages or contribution without permission. The Seller may adapt the delivery method or replace a live link when reasonably necessary while preserving the essential service.
9. Right of withdrawal and 14-day full-refund promise
A consumer generally has a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal for a distance service contract, starting on the day after the contract is concluded, unless a lawful exception applies.
The Customer may withdraw by sending an unambiguous statement to admin@akuru.fr, including their name, order number, programme and ordering email, or by using the model form below. No reason is required.
Full-refund promise: in addition to the Customer’s statutory rights, the Seller promises to refund the complete €49 programme price when the Customer withdraws within that 14-calendar-day period. No proportionate amount will be deducted for Challenge activities, feedback, live calls, recordings or community access already supplied during the period, even if the service or access began at the Customer’s request.
Reimbursement is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed, using the same payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without additional cost.
10. Commercial cancellation after the 14-day full-refund period
After the 14-day full-refund period has expired, no commercial refund is normally provided for a missed day, a missed Zoom call, non-use of community access, a change of mind, or withdrawal after the Challenge has begun. At our discretion, a proportionate solution may be offered for documented serious illness, bereavement or a comparable exceptional circumstance. These commercial terms do not limit mandatory legal rights or remedies.
11. Changes, postponement or cancellation by the Seller
We may make reasonable non-material changes, including replacing a meeting link, changing the delivery platform or rescheduling a live call with reasonable notice. If a live call is cancelled, it will normally be rescheduled or replaced with an equivalent session or recording.
If we cancel the entire Challenge before it begins, the Customer may choose a full refund or, if offered, a transfer to an equivalent future programme. A material change that substantially deprives the Customer of the purchased service may entitle the Customer to an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion.
12. Skool community and third-party services
The €49 price includes one month of programme-related access to the private Pransha Akuru Skool community. It does not create a separate paid Skool subscription. Skool, Zoom, WhatsApp and the payment provider operate under their own terms, technical requirements and privacy practices. The Seller remains responsible for the programme services it has promised, subject to applicable law.
13. Intellectual property and conduct
Daily topics, feedback, call recordings, presentations and other teaching materials are protected by intellectual-property rights and are provided for the participant’s personal learning only. They must not be copied, edited, republished, sold, publicly displayed or shared without prior written permission.
Account sharing, unauthorised recording of participants, harassment, unlawful conduct and distribution of programme content are prohibited. Access may be suspended for a serious breach, subject to mandatory consumer rights and a proportionate assessment of the circumstances.
14. Personal data and privacy
Personal data is processed to administer the order, deliver the programme, communicate with participants, provide feedback and meet legal obligations. Audio and video submissions may include the participant’s voice or image and will be handled for the purpose of delivering the Challenge.
See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for further information. Marketing consent is not required to purchase the programme.
15. Complaints and consumer mediation
First send a written complaint to admin@akuru.fr. If it remains unresolved, an eligible consumer may use the appointed mediator free of charge:

16. Liability and force majeure
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Seller does not guarantee a particular language level or result because progress also depends on participation, practice and individual circumstances.
Neither party is liable for failure caused by an event meeting the legal conditions of force majeure. We will notify the Customer and offer a lawful and proportionate solution for materially undelivered services.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. A consumer retains mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence and may bring a claim before any court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future orders. The version available before the Customer orders applies to that order. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already granted by law or contract.
